EUVisions

EuVisions is an observatory aimed at offering up-to-date information and analyses on crucial issues pertaining to the European Social Union (ESU) and the development of the European integration process. It was established as part of the ERC-funded REScEU project (Reconciling Economic and Social Europe: Values, Ideas and Politics) directed by Maurizio Ferrera, based at the University of Milan and the Centro di Ricerca e Documentazione “Luigi Einaudi” in Turin.

More specifically, we would like to signal to scholars interested people across Europe our latest editorial project:

“Europan Social Union: A public forum debate”.

This forum and website section, which was initiated by Frank Vandenbroucke, Maurizio Ferrera, Anton Hemerijck and Manos Matsaganis, comprehends a set of reflections of scholars across Europe on the potentialities of the establishment of a European Social Union.

More recent contributions are authored by Bea Cantillon, Chiara Saraceno and Andrew Watt.

The debate is aimed at creating momentum around Social Europe ahead of the upcoming European Elections.
