South European Society and Politics Call for Special Issue Proposals 2025

South European Society and Politics is opening a call for special issue proposals with a comparative scope that address fundamental aspects of politics and society in the southern European countries the journal covers — Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey — other regions or countries may be considered as benchmarks.

Proposals must include the abstracts of all proposed articles, short biographical notes about the contributors, a timetable, with specified milestones, such as conferences or workshops, and the date by which the special issue would be submitted. Journal special issues normally contain no fewer than five articles.  SESP values special issue proposals that bring together a diverse set of scholars.

Proposals should be submitted directly to the Journal Editors via email: Nicolò Conti (nicoloconti@unitelmasapienza.it), Bonnie Field (BField@bentley.edu).

Deadline: Ongoing
