Politics and policies in times of economic crisis
The Rivista Italiana di Scienza Politica (RISP) and the Società Italiana di Scienza Politica (SISP) announce a two day conference in English to be held in Siena on 13 and 14 June 2013. The title of the conference is Politics and policies in times of economic crisis. During the first day two plenary sessions will be devoted to the state of Italian Political Science and to the consequence of the crisis on the future government in Italy.
During second day (14 June 2013) four parallel panels will be held, covering four broad topics which are traditionally relevant for our journal. Original papers are therefore invited which can throw light on these topics, using different approaches and research designs. Each panel director will accept to a maximum of 5 papers, but other proposals positively evaluated will be tabled and circulated among participants.
The papers discussed during the conference will be considered for publication in the future issues of the journal, which will be entirely published in English starting with 2014.
Paper proposals should be submitted by 1 March 2013 to the RISP editorial coordinator (risp@sisp.it).
