Call for Application: International Summer School in Public Policy INSTITUTIONS AND POLICY CHANGE

9-14 June 2014 Venice & Padova

The Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies (SPGI) at the University of Padova is organizing, in collaboration with the Standing Group in “Political Science and Public Policy” of the Italian Association of Political Science (SISP), the Fifth Summer School in Public Policy Institutions and Policy Change.

Confirmed speakers are: Guy Peters, Pittsburgh University; Bruno Dente, Politecnico di Milano; Jacint Jordana, IBEI Barcelona; Claudio M. Radaelli, University of Exeter; Michael Howlett, Simon Fraser University; Giliberto Capano, University of Bologna. The Summer School is aimed at Ph.D. candidate and Master students, practitioners and public officials. A minimum of 20 and a maximum of 24 participants will be admitted. The registration fee is € 80 for students and € 120 for practitioners. Participants are required to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Two scholarships are available for non-EU students, covering the registration fee and accommodation costs.

The deadline for applications is 28 March 2014.
