Nomination Procedure

The annual ‘Carlo Maria Santoro’ Prize is awarded to the best paper presented at the previous year’s SISP Conference by at least one SISP member, without age or career level limitations career for the author(s). In order for the paper to be eligible for the prize, at least one of the authors must be a SISP member at the time of paper presentation.

Papers presented at the Conference without any of the authors being a SISP member are excluded from participation. In the event that at least one of the authors has applied for SISP membership in the months preceding the Conference, and the application has not yet been ratified by the Assembly, the participation request is deemed admissible.

Nomination procedure: Section Chairs are required to submit in writing up to a maximum of 3 papers presented within the panels organized within their Section (also based on recommendations received from Panel Chairs, discussants and any self-nominations). In case of failure to make a nomination, the Section Chairs are required to briefly explain the reasons.

Amount of the prize (total for each single paper): €500.00
