Journal of Contemporary European Studies (JCES) is a multidisciplinary journal, published by Taylor&Francis committed to promoting the study of European societies, politics and cultures.
As part of this, JCES has an extensive reviews section centering on a wide range of publications in an interdisciplinary social science context and from a variety of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences.
The journal would like to attract reviews of recently published books in any of the subject areas of contemporary European studies covered by the journal (see Aims and Scope), including areas related to gender, migration, labour, identity and integration.
Proposals to review two or three books in a comparative critical perspective are strongly encouraged.
Reviewers should have sufficient expertise in the field of the book they propose to review, as well as good writing skills.
Unsolicited reviews are not accepted. Please do not send a review without first proposing it to the review editors and obtaining their approval.
All inquiries or proposals can be sent to Ross Campbell Ross.Campbell@uws.ac.uk and Daniela Irrera dirrera@unict.it
